When celebrities get engaged, there’s a good chance we regular folk will find out about said good news through social media.
It’s usually announced oh-so-joyfully; accompanied by a smiling ‘I said yes!’ or ‘she said yes!’ feed post that may or not contain a rock worth our yearly — nay, three years worth of — paychecks. But despite feeling a little like Anne Hathaway in Bride Wars, tearing our eyes away from these sparkly, eye-watering rings feels like a task and a half.
There’s a bit of a kerfuffle in the Easy Weddings office at the moment, with staff passionately debating which ring they’d want for themselves if given the option (yes, we have some very realistic and important discussions at EW HQ). Will it be Katy Perry’s unique, flower-shaped ring? Or an enormous rectangular diamond a la Kim Kardashian?
