Billionaire bride: Nicky Hilton weds at Kensington Palace
Hotel heiress Paris Hilton’s little sis’ Nicky Hilton married English banking heir James Rothschild at Kensington Palace over the weekend – and the wedding was as glamorous as you’d expect when billionaires wed.

Nicky Hilton, 31, wore a stunning custom-made ivory and silver guipure Valentino wedding dress that was embellished with thousands of crystals. Her outfit was topped off with a three metre-long train – and custom-made Christian Louboutin heels featuring her and James’ initials, a love heart and their wedding date.
Nicky became engaged to James, 31, in August 2014 after three years of dating. James is and they met at the wedding of billionaire Bernie Eccleston’s daughter, Petra in 2011.
The bride, who worked on the dress with Valentino in the six months leading up to the wedding, told Harper’s Bazaar, “Ever since I was a little girl I wanted Valentino to design my wedding dress. Valentino is the definition of timeless elegance, I don’t think there’s another couture house like it.
“I went through every look from their collections over the last 10 years. I studied the archives, and I just sent notes about details I like – a certain sleeve, a high neckline.”

Nicky’s beautiful wedding dress has been compared to the Alexander McQueen gown worn by the Duchess of Windsor during her wedding to Prince William in 2011.
Her flower girls’ dresses were designed by close friend Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, who attended the lavish nuptials with her husband, Crown Prince Pavlos.

The wedding reception was held at Kensington Palace, official home of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, as well as Prince Harry. It was closed to the public for the day.
Guests, who included Chelsea Clinton, actress Kate Beckinsale and Naomi Campbell, partied until 2:30am. They supped on crab, lobster, duck pancakes and beef before washing down their meal with Mint Juleps and espresso martini shots. Dessert included panna cotta, Pimms jelly cups and strawberry cheesecake.
This is James’ first marriage and Nicky’ssecond. She married money manager Todd Meister, whom she met when she was 15, in Las Vegas in 2004. However, their marriage was annulled three months later.
