Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria is engaged, and from the pictures, her weekend engagement looks like a scene from a Hollywood movie set. Eva’s boyfriend of two years, media president Jose Antonio Baston, proposed during a desert safari in Dubai.
Longoria 40, and Jose, 47, were in Dubai attending the 2015 Dubai International Film Festival, after which he proposed in style. The actress said ‘yes’ among an abundance rose petals, rich red rugs, flutes of champagne and surrounded by the sands of the Arabian desert.
Longoria posted the snap above of the couple kissing, (and a great angle of her new engagement ring), to Instagram with the caption,
“Ummmm so this happened….#Engaged #Dubai #Happiness.”
The picture gives a glimpse of her HUGE crimson coloured engagement ring, which appears to be a cushion cut ruby with a halo of diamonds.
Baston is President of Content and Television at Mexico-based Grupo Televisa, the world’s largest Spanish-speaking media conglomerate – and will be Eva’s third husband.
She was married to General Hosptial actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 until 2004, and then to professional basketball player Tony Parker, from 2007 until 2011.
We wish the Eva and Jose all the best, and if their lavish engagement was anything to go by, then their wedding will certainly be one to look forward to in the New Year!
