The first question is "Do they have the date that you require?  What is the capacity of the facility?  Can you have a ceremony and reception on the premises? What is your minimum spends for menu and beverages? What does the venue supply and how flexible? What times are available to access to the property.

I think its imporatnt for you to know how much time your package allows you to access the venue.  Also, being flexible is something that we find our couples want.

You should speak to the wedding co-ordinator to make sure he/she understands your vision

 Hi There,

You should always find out what is NOT included in packages.  Try and get somewhere with the most inclusions to get the most bang for your buck.

The initail questions should be relating to capacity, menu options, price points, inclusions, time frames and flexibilty relating to any specific requirementsyou might have.

If the venue is flexiable with the package and menu.

Do you have minium number's?

Will there be other functions on at the same time or can we have an exclusive?

Hello,

I always like it when we are asked if we are willing to be flexible with our packages (because we are). I believe that wedding venues with a flexible approach truly understand the wedding business and will do their upmost to make your day memorable.

I hope you have a marvelous day.

Some basic information should start with:

  • availability for your preferred date
  • which area will be most suitable for you and the capacity
  • the time frame you can book the venue for (most venues allow for around 6 hours)
  • Room Hire Costs and Minimum Spend
  • Available Menus - Set Menu, Cocktail Style Menu etc
