Hi there. Wondering if we're supposed to cater meals for our wedding suppliers, and which suppliers are typically included? Need to factor into our budget.

We recommend that anyone that is still around by the main feeding time should be served a supplier meal , this would include the people involved with the music , photographers/ videographer. Normaly venues will cater for the floor staff , meaning you wouldnt have to worry.
Most suppliers we have met have stated they arent always feed , when they are they are over the moon with the hospitality and being thought about in that context.
Most suppliers come and leave after setting up.
Possibly meals are for the florist, if the pieces are arranged at the venue and also
the photographer staying on a bit during the reception.
Tuggeranong Homestead offers half price for vendors meals to brides and grooms. We will always cater for your vendors and ensure they are looked after at the Homestead. Old fashion country hospitality.
Hi!
Normally you should cater meals for vendors if they are staying 5 hours or more or will be there over a dinner period. So if you have a DJ coming at 5pm to set up, but they don't techinally start till 6:30, I would still get them a meal as they are missing when they would normally have dinner. You can always ask the vendor as well if they would like a meal, as some may not want one.
Usually the photoprahper, videopraher, and entertainment are vendors that would get vendor meals.
Here at Summerland Farm we have vendor meals for $25pp, that way you don't need to pay full price for a vendor meal. We also accomodate to the vendors dietary requirements.
Hope this helps (:
It really depends on your preference and who will still be around during meal service. Typically, this could include photograpers, videographers, DJ's, band members or photobooth attendants. In some instances, the celebrant or priest is also invited to the reception, however if they are given a seat at a table, they will usually be included in the guest numbers as opposed to the vendor numbers.

The general rule of thumb, is any supplier staying for the duration of your reception should be included when catering for supplier meals. These are normally photographers, videographers, musicians/DJ's, any pyrotechnics operators or photobooth attendants.
It is also important to keep in mind that your suppliers don't need to be served the entire meal, and shouldnt be charged as a full guest, a main meal and access to beverages is all that is needed. Here at Realm our vendor meals are charged at $40, rather than charged as a full prce guest and we also make sure we are catering for any diertary requirements they need.
