We had our Wedding at Summerland Farm earlier this year and it was absolute perfection! The staff bent over backwards to deliver our dream day and the food was to die for (we still get comments from our family and friends of how delicious our menu was!). The venue itself was a dream come to true and not a detail was missed by the Wedding team. Big thanks to Sam, Sophie and Rick who made it all happen. The grounds were stunning, despite it raining all week and the day of and we still had ample options for photos on an overcast and sprinkling day. We couldn't recommend Summerland Farm more!

Meal catering for wedding vendors?

Hi there. Wondering if we're supposed to cater meals for our wedding suppliers, and which suppliers are typically included? Need to factor into our budget.

Hi!

Normally you should cater meals for vendors if they are staying 5 hours or more or will be there over a dinner period. So if you have a DJ coming at 5pm to set up, but they don't techinally start till 6:30, I would still get them a meal as they are missing when they would normally have dinner. You can always ask the vendor as well if they would like a meal, as some may not want one.

Usually the photoprahper, videopraher, and entertainment are vendors that would get vendor meals.

Here at Summerland Farm we have vendor meals for $25pp, that way you don't need to pay full price for a vendor meal. We also accomodate to the vendors dietary requirements.
