Most Weddings of 40 guests and above for a lunch Wedding or Weddings of 60 guests for a dinner Wedding. These are the nominated amounts as if we have groups of this size room hire fees generally don't apply. With group of this size most of our couples find that they will cover our minmum spends by selecting one of our food and beverage packages.
Thanks for the question, our wedding venue would classify 200+ or more as a large wedding.
Hi there :) It is honestly relative to the venue. Some venues can only host intimate weddings of 50, some venues host very big groups of 350-500+! On average we find most people tend to have around 100-140 people at our venue and we can seat up to 170. Good luck!

Hello!
We would normally classify a large wedding over 200 guests, however it depends on your background with certain cultures classing 200 as a small wedding. I would suggest not being worried about the size of your wedding, but rather make sure the room compliments your guests. IF you have 200 guests and the room is too small, then your wedding can look crammed in and not very comfortable for guests. The same with larger spaces and having too much room!
A good coordinator will assist with a floorplan with their experience of knowing the venue, and what suits it, will benefit a wedding and help your Wedding day look beautiful.
