Hi, I’m Karyn. Weddings have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up working in my parents wedding venue, later starting my wedding business in Melbourne before moving to Rutherglen. For the past five years, I’ve helped couples at The Pavilion create relaxed, elegant vineyard celebrations, ensuring every detail runs smoothly so they can enjoy their special day.

We have a lovely sun dappled ceremony location under mature trees, on the lawn, overlooking the Calliope Vineyard. After the ceremony, this area is perfect for post ceremony celebrations.
We have a lovely indoor ceremony space ready, should the weather change. Featuring warm ambient lighting and a stunning vintage arched window and doorway, it provides an elegant and romantic setting, ensuring your day is just as special regardless of the weather.

There is additional accommodation close by in both Rutherglen and Corowa. Local bus companies can be arranged to collect and return guests between their accommodation and our venue.

Absolutely, we know that for many couples, their four legged friend is an important part of the family. Well behaved dogs are welcome to attend your wedding ceremony and be included in your photos, making your special day even more memorable. We simply ask that they are supervised by a nominated guest throughout the celebration. If you need help with a dog sitter for the reception, we can recommend some local sitters for you.

The Pavilion Weddings at Buller Wines
Our venue is situated on the lawn overlooking the historic Calliope Vineyard at Buller Wines in Rutherglen, VIC. Couples who choose our venue for their special day, also have access to 8 gorgeous individual Vineyard or Garden View cottages for themselves, bridal party, family or guests.
Completed in 2023, each cottage features a separate bedroom with luxurious linens, ensuite and a lounge / kitchen area. An outdoor deck with deck furniture is perfect for relaxing. A communal BBQ Pavilion is great for the night before or breakfast the day after.
No matter where you choose to celebrate your day, have a look at bus companies that can provide transport to and from your venue to selected accommodations or close by, larger towns where the majority of your guests may be coming from. We find a mix of bus transport for most guests with our on site accommodation for the bridal party and / or family works really well.
