If you're looking for a relaxed, beautiful waterfront wedding venue, I honestly couldn't recommend The Boathouse Shelly Beach more. One of the reasons we chose it was because the timing worked perfectly with the kind of celebration we wanted. After lunch, we simply walked from Shelly Beach back to Manly with our guests, stopped for drinks, and ended the day dancing. It was exactly the relaxed, joyful atmosphere we had imagined. Taking our wedding photos on Shelly Beach was such a highlight—people were stopping to congratulate us, divers were coming out of the water, and we ended up with some amazing, unique photos. The whole area has such a happy, celebratory vibe. The Boathouse itself was fantastic from beginning to end. Samantha, who looked after us during the planning process, was incredible. We were planning this wedding celebration while also organizing another wedding back home in Colombia, so things were sometimes a little chaotic on our end. Despite that, she was always patient, kind, incredibly responsive, and so professional. She made the whole planning process feel easy and pulled everything together perfectly. We also didn't want a traditional ceremony because we'd already had one in Colombia. Instead, we wanted to include a longer speech and a small personal celebration during lunch. Samantha was so open, flexible, and accommodating, helping us create exactly what we had in mind while still working within the venue's guidelines. It couldn't have turned out better. On the day itself, Mandy absolutely blew us away. She was looking after us throughout the event, and I honestly can't say enough good things about her. From helping organize photos downstairs, keeping our boys together, making sure my veil was always in place, and somehow always appearing with a drink whenever we needed one, to making sure we actually got to eat the canapés while chatting with our guests—she thought of everything. She made us feel completely looked after, and her warmth and attention to detail made such a difference to our day. The entire service team was friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, the weather was perfect, and everything came together better than we could have imagined. For anyone planning an intimate wedding with around 60 guests or fewer, I genuinely think The Boathouse Shelly Beach is the perfect venue. We had the most wonderful experience and would recommend it 10/10.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Shelly Beach Boathouse. The staff were incredible from start to finish. They were so helpful, responsive, and always happy to field any questions we had throughout the planning process. One of the biggest highlights was how convenient it was to design and style our wedding all through Shelly Beach Boathouse without needing to coordinate multiple different vendors. It really felt like a one-stop shop, which made the entire planning experience so much smoother and far less stressful. A special mention to Sammy, our wedding manager, who was absolutely amazing and made everything run seamlessly. The staff on the day were also incredible, which allowed us to sit back and enjoy every moment. We would highly recommend Shelly Beach Boathouse to anyone planning their wedding.

The shelly beach boat house what exceptional. My brand needed a large order of drinks made for my event and they organised and produced these very smoothly at a fast pace. The staff were very friendly and i would highly recommend the shelly beach boat house team to anyone who is looking to collaborate for an event.

The setting and venue is amazing, the food is incredible and the service was outstanding. The event manager Samantha made the whole process seamless to organise. I couldn’t recommend it enough!
