FAQ

Absolutely! While the Chowder Bay Wharf is currently closed for renovation, If you would like to arrive by water taxi you can do so by disembarking at nearby Clifton Gardens Wharf and walk along the beach to Ripples Chowder Bay. Please enquire about the tides as a high tide will impact your walk.

Ripples Chowder Bay does not charge venue hire fees, however minimum spend requirements apply dependent on the date of the event. This means you are required to spend at least the advised minimum spend requirement on food and beverages in order to reserve Ripples Chowder Bay for your event. Minimum spend requirements are available on request.

Forget alternate drop menus with a limited and uninspired menu, as we are a restaurant we pride ourselves on our food quality and offering. For all our weddings, the couple have the flexibility to pre-select 3 mains, 3 entrees & desserts that gives your guests the luxury of selecting their dishes on the day.

as we married on the boat arriving in the pier of Ripples Chowder Bay was a romantic and cool way to arrive with all our guests for the reception. The booking team prior and the team at Ripples Chowder Bay executes everything perfectly and the service was personal warm engaging and effortless. The food was amazing and the whole reception also exceeded our expectations.

We loved our wedding at Ripples Chowder Bay. The staff were super accommodating. They were happy to take us through without a booking. It was magical! The food was delicious. We had vegan, coeliac etc. and everyone was catered for. Guests loved having the choice of food. It's stunning, I'd recommend them to anyone. The venue has a lot of history which is really cool.
