What's the capacity for weddings at Georges River Sailing Club Sydney?
The Horizon Room can hold up to 300 guests whilst the Waterview and Parkview rooms can hold up to 150 guests cocktail-style setting or 100 seated.

My name is Vanessa, and I am one of our Events Consultants at the Georges River Sailing Club. I am passionate about all things weddings and events, and even planned my own Wedding in Greece all the way from Australia (without ever having been to the country)! The Georgesd River Sailing Club has 3 function spaces with the following maximum capcities:
Parkview Room - 130 people
Waterview Room - 170 people
Horizon Room - 300 people
We have the following minimum spend requirements for our spaces:
Parkview Rom - $6,000
Waterview Room - $7,000
Horizon Room - $15,000
Our minimum spends are made up of your catering and beverage selections, with no additional room hire on top!
We allow 2 hours of bump in for your vendors and suppliers.
If your vendors do require more time to bump in, please reach out to our events team who can advise if this is feasible.
We also have a list or recommended suppliers if you do need a guide and starting point when searching!
The latest end time for your Wedding or event would be midnight.
Your Wedding Reception will be a total of 5 hours.
Yes, we do allow minors at our venue for the duration of your function.
No, we do not allow for any external caterers, or for any alcohol to br brought in.
All catering and beverages are to be arrangted internally.
We do allow for you to bring in your Wedding cake externally.
Yes, we do host cermonies on site at our venue.
We host intimate ceremonies on our balcony, with a maximum capoacity of 40 people.
We also hold ceremonies in our function rooms.
The ceremony hire is for 2 hours and is a set rate of $1,500.
