About

Kawana beach is one of the longest open beaches on the Sunshine Coast, stretching from Point Cartwright at the northern end down to Currimundi Lake at the southern end. Ten kilometres of beautiful white sand.

Most certainly, we are able to cater to your requirements.

We can hold ceremonies on the lawn at the back of the Club, overlooking the ocean. This will incur the cost of council approval. 

You can certainly order from any of the menu items. There is no extra fee for weddings.

The whole team were amazing from start to finish. You can tell that they do a lot of weddings because it’s a very well oiled machine whilst being a very personable experience. The staff went out of their way to look after us all and the food was so good. This isn’t a regular surf club, this is an event venue and they do weddings incredibly well. The outside grassed area is also beautiful for a wedding ceremony. I would 100% recommended this venue if you want to be looked after by true professionals and not have to worry about a thing on your special day.

The functions manager Jen was simply amazing. The whole process of planning was made easier because Jen was so helpful and accommodating. The Surf Club is a beautiful venue, easy to access and the courtesy bus- you can't go wrong! They are also great value for money, we couldn't be happier.

I couldn’t recommend Kawana surf club enough. They went above and beyond to make our day magical and exactly how I pictured it but even better. They put in so much effort setting up our reception and created our dream that was Pinterest worthy. All of the workers I had contact with leading up to the wedding and on the day were fantastic and so lovely. Kawana surf Club has a special place in my heart and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a gorgeous beach wedding!
