The Retreat, Port Stephens is truly a unique wedding venue, offering a complete wedding experience. Our packages offers you and your guests 2 Nights’ Accommodation with exclusive use to The Retreat - be it midweek or a weekend. You and some of your guests may also want to stay extra nights and there is ability to do this, upon availability.
The Retreat offers two different areas on the property to hold your wedding reception.
? We have an indoor multipurpose function room which can seat up to 80 guests or Stand-up Cocktail Party for 100 guests; or
? A picturesque outdoor area with a bush backdrop and backing onto the stunning sand dunes (marquee recommended)
Apart from being an amazing venue, what attracts Brides and Grooms to The Retreat is that everything is in one location; ceremony, reception & accommodation. This makes for a perfect opportunity to spend extra quality time with your family and friends who have travelled from near and far to celebrate with you.
Once your accommodation and wedding venue is booked at The Retreat, the rest is DIY. You arrange your own Marriage Celebrant, Caterer, Stylist, Photographer, Hair & Beauty, Entertainment, Alcohol etc. We have an information booklet which includes a list of our preferred suppliers who we have worked with previously.
For those who wish to elope we also offer Elopement Packages.

Hi! We're planning a two day wedding weekend and would love ideas for how the weekend could go, including any pre or post celebrations.

Hi,
We host a lot of weddings that choose to do this. Some weddings in the past have done a Pre wedding BBQ the night before, the wedding day usually consists getting ready etc, you could also have a charcuterie board delivered the day of the wedding. You could have a coffee van on site both the Saturday and Sunday for the day after the wedding. I hope this helps.

Looking for wedding venue which can accomodate upto 200 people and I can get my own caterer. Somewhere near water. Looking to get married in April 2020
