Hi, we are looking to elope. Most packages we’ve seen for venues come with a celebrant and photographer. We’d like my partners brother to perform the ceremony but as he isn’t a registered celebrant we had looked at doing the legal bits during the week at the registry office. We also don’t require a photographer as we already have one from previous events we’d like to use again. Most elopement packages come with both of these things as a must have inclusion. Any suggestions??

Hi Emma,
Some venues give you the option of ceremony only hire which gives you use of the space for the ceremony without having all the elopement extras.
Please keep in mind that this is often limited in what days can be booked as days such as Thursday to Sunday are often reserved for weddings looking to book a full ceremony and reception package.
Another alternative would be to find a public space (check to see if permits or permissions are required) and elope there with the people and vendors of your choosing.
Very different options with very different cost points. The main thing to remember, it to stay true to what you want to creat efor your day.
We are happy to chat with you to discuss options available through The Shearing Shed.
