  • Tables and chairs for up to 180 PAX.  Inventory of available furniture is available on our website or on request.
  • Table set-up is either done by Renter, Caterer or Decorator. HHSC can provide staff to set up if required.

The room came up beautifully. It's a great location, with lovely views, and loads of natural light replaced with the city's lights as the light fades, Maureen was terrific to work with, with loads of parking, privacy, no noise issues, a large dance floor and price reasonable. Highly recommended!!

The sailing club was a stunning location for our wedding! Maureen was great at running us through venue hire details and connecting us to decorators for our event. The venue was overlooking Cockatoo Island and had a view out to Clark's Point. It was beautiful and was organised so well. Maureen was great at accommodating us and answering any questions. "Hunters Hill Sailing Club was an amazing venue for our Sangeet. The setting is stunning and the surrounding parklands were perfect for our photos. Maureen and her team are extremely accommodating and easy to work with, making the whole process stress-free. Hunters Hill Sailing Club is the perfect blend of a blank canvas wedding venue where we could decorate it exactly as we wished and use the space in a completely free way without any restrictions which other venues might have, whilst still having the support of the venue doing the cleaning and up keep before and after the wedding. Maureen was great to work with and very responsive to my million and one questions about the venue! She even took my friends and mum through to view the venue while I was interstate and couldn't get there myself. The club itself was in a great location overlooking Sydney harbour, with the added bonus of fireworks after the speeches which the international guests in particular enjoyed. There are great options right next door for an outdoor ceremony too which made it really easy for us and the guests. We used Maureen's recommended supplier for fairylights which transformed the hall into a beautiful setting that we loved.

Wedding venue crisis

Hi, in crisis mode, our venue has double booked a portion of our room booked and are barely communicating with us to come to an agreeable solution, except at an additional charge to us (including additional fees that are not in the contract). We feel so helpless and defeated a month out before the wedding day!!! Any advice or help or tips?

Eloping

Hi, we are looking to elope. Most packages we’ve seen for venues come with a celebrant and photographer. We’d like my partners brother to perform the ceremony but as he isn’t a registered celebrant we had looked at doing the legal bits during the week at the registry office. We also don’t require a photographer as we already have one from previous events we’d like to use again. Most elopement packages come with both of these things as a must have inclusion. Any suggestions??
