Zest Waterfront Venues - Boathouse at The Spit, Mosman

Zest is the perfect wedding venue. From the location to the service to the incredible food. One of the best in the industry for sure. We had our wedding there last month and from the first site inspection to the wedding day the team at Zest were nothing but professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

From initial interaction to the conclusion of our wedding evening, zest understood our complete vision for our event, able to point out areas for improvement and refinement and was able to create a seamless production and evening. Us and all our guests were beyond amazed by how smoothly and professional all the staff and management conducted themselves. The food was beyond expectation. Delicious flavours, generous portions, beautiful presentation. Bride, groom and bridal party appreciated the time and effort put in to make us feel special and appreciated on the day. If anything had gone wrong, we didn’t notice because of how organised and proactive the staff were. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a wedding venue. Martin (manager on the evening) went above and beyond to help make even the smallest moment feel special. Keighlan (event coordinator) helped so much in the organisation process to make the evening what it was.

Both we and the guests were extremely well fed with amazing food. Keighlan - you have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Your responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to communicate in a concise manner was second to none. You understood our requests, captured actions diligently and responded to each and every question we had asked without us having to follow you up. All the extra touches were noticed - keeping us informed of when you were going to be away and who to contact if you were, the amazing coffee with latte art in our first in-person meeting, the willingness to help and accommodate our requests (e.g. reduction of dessert, kids meals, checking with head chef etc etc the list goes on), the sending of additional food photos, styling guide pics, amendments to the run sheet, floorplans and table allocations etc. We are so impressed. Martin - thank you for looking after us as guests at a previous wedding we attended at Zest, as well as the insights and your willingness to answer any and all questions during the pre-wedding tasting menu night. Your constant reassurance and checking in on us during the day was greatly appreciated. The reminders to relax and soak it in, and hyping us up before the bride/groom entrance, how you gave us a chance to sprinkle the sugar with the flame etc. Thank you!! Head Chef - I have never met him/her, but the food at Zest has been amazing. Zest was the only venue we enquired with because good food was important to us. You have helped create and sustain Zest's great reputation (along with other kitchen-staff). To all the other staff - waiters, waitresses, bar staff- thank you so much for your service. Every single staff member we interacted with - everyone seemed to love their job and the service was amazing. Sushant, once again - impeccable. He came to check up on us and see if we needed any entrees, and brought them into the bridal room for us. He remembered that I didn't drink alcohol when I requested for non-alcoholic champagne - and so for the lychee cocktail, he brought me a lychee mocktail with lemonade, without me asking for a non-alc version. Zest team - it's a shame we only get married once. But would very much be looking forward to attending as guests again in the future. Thank you for all that you do. Wedding in May 2026

We recently had our wedding reception at Zest Waterfront Venues in Mosman, and it was honestly a 5/5 experience from start to finish. From the very beginning, the team was incredibly organised, professional, and easy to work with. The planning process felt smooth, which made such a difference in the lead-up to the big day. A huge thank you to Keighlan, our event planner, who was fantastic throughout. She was always responsive and helpful in answering our million questions, making sure everything came together perfectly. On the night itself, everything ran seamlessly. Martin, who was running the event, did an amazing job keeping everything on track, making us feel calm and relaxed. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing and were able to just enjoy the night. The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful waterfront views that created such a great atmosphere for our indoor reception. We had around 125 guests, and the space felt perfect with its warm cosy and romantic vibes, not crowded, and still full of energy. The food and service were absolute standouts as expected given this was one of the main reasons we chose Zest. We had so many compliments from our guests about how good everything was, and the service throughout the night was attentive and professional. We genuinely couldn’t fault a thing. If you’re considering Zest Waterfront Venues for your wedding, we couldn’t recommend them more highly.
