Woods Sherbrooke is a close, intimate venue located on the edge of the Sherbrooke Forest in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges.
Surrounded by century old English gardens, Woods Sherbrooke specialises in smaller weddings and private functions for 30 or more guests.
Your ceremony can be held in the garden under the Magnolia tree or in our Parlour bar if the weather is inclement.
The dining room's Art Deco period features a large Cedar oval window offering lovely views of the gardens and creates a wonderful ambience.
A wood burning fire in the cooler months makes the room warm and cosy.
Modern Australian cuisine incorporating the freshest local seasonal produce is prepared by our chefs.
A sit down reception with a 3 course menu customised by you is offered. Alternatively a standing cocktail style reception with a selection of delicious canapes may be your preferred option. Our pastry chef can create your wedding cake according to your style which can then be served with or as the dessert.
Several options for photographs are offered within the grounds of the property as well as in the forest and local public gardens.
On-site accommodation is available for you and/or your guests to retire to at the end of the day.

Thank you for your enquiry regarding having your wedding ceremony and reception at Woods Sherbrooke in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. We would be delighted to host this very special day for you both.
We offer private use of our venue for a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 60 guests for a seated reception or 100 guests for standing cocktail style reception.
Your wedding ceremony may be held in either our garden under our Magnolia tree or in our front parlour depending upon the weather.
Your guests will be treated to a three course dinner consisting of entree, main course and dessert with your two selections for each course served on an alternating basis. If your preference is for a standing Cocktail style reception, we ask you to select 8 items from our extensive Canapes menu.
The price per guest is $115.
Beverages including sparkling, white and red wines, premium beers, soft drinks, juice, tea, coffee are payable based on consumption.
Our patisserie chef will prepare a wedding cake for you which can be served either in addition to (additional cost) or in place of dessert.
The venue will be set up as per your request. We provide quality napery, cutlery, glassware and tea light candles. Floral arrangements, guest place cards, bonbonniere and any additional table adornments will be at your own expense. A venue fee of $750 applies to all bookings.
We would be happy to assist you with recommending local suppliers including Celebrants, Wedding dresses, Suits, Stylists, Photographers, Florists, Musicians, Hair and Makeup artists, Wedding cars, Bonbonniere, Candles, Wedding cakes.
One month prior to the wedding day will arrange a time to get together to discuss ceremony arrangements, the menu and beverage selections, table configuration and set up and music.
To confirm your booking a 30% deposit is payable with the balance due one week prior to your wedding date.
Accommodation is available onsite as well as within walking distance of the venue.
We would be very happy to arrange an inspection of the venue for you whenever it is most convenient. Inspections are generally held on weekends for approximately one hour.
Woods Sherbrooke has been providing wedding services to couples for more than 20 years and we operate with a team of very experienced, professional staff.

The maximum number of guests we can accommodate is 70 for a sit down reception and 100 for a standing cocktail style reception.
Absolutely! We have beautiful established English gardens with a huge Magnolia tree providing shade in summer.
The ceremony is held in the garden under our wedding arbour and festoon lights. Some chairs are provided with remainder of guests gathering in close. The Parlour Bar is available for the ceremony to be held indoors in case of inclement weather.
Woods Sherbrooke is a lovely half acre property surrounded by trees and close the Sherbrooke Forest.
There are gardens at the front of the property and also a French Parterre garden with a fountain at the rear of the property.
The Alfred Nicolas gardens and Sherbrooke Forest are located a short distance away offering many more photo opportunies off site.
We offer you and your guests private use of the venue which includes our front Parlour Bar, Dining room and gardens for pre-reception drinks.
Woods Sherbrooke has accommodation available on site.
Our Forest Suite is hotel style accommodation with Queen Bedroom and Ensuite. There is a large 2 person bath tub perfect to soak in following your wedding day.
Our Forest Cottage is self contained kitchen, lounge area, seperate bedroom and outdoor court yard.
It has a sofa bed available for extra guests.
There are also many bed and breakfasts in the immediate area for guests to stay at.
