The Old Coach Stables is a stunning wedding venue in the NSW Southern Tablelands, just outside Gunning. Surrounded by historic stone walls, lush gardens, and sweeping countryside views, it offers couples the perfect setting to exchange vows, capture timeless wedding photos, and celebrate their reception all in one location.
The beautifully restored 1857 stables provide a romantic and elegant backdrop, combining historic charm with modern comforts. Couples can enjoy exclusive use of the venue, allowing for an intimate and personalised wedding experience. Every wedding is thoughtfully tailored, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable celebration for the bride and groom.

FAQ
Gunning, Dalton, Collector, Crookwell, Goulburn and Yass all offer a range of motel accommodation.
Free camping is also available at Gunning’s
Barbour Park and the Gunning showground.
We recommend that you bring speakers if you intend to use a playlist as our system is not loud enough for dancing.
We do have a projector screen that you are welcome to use but all other audio or visual equipment must be bought in by clients.
We do not allow confetti or balloons on site. We recommend bubbles, rose pettles or https://www.bioconfetti.com.au/
Included in our packages is white linen. Disposable serviettes for canape´s.
We also have natural linen serviettes and table runners available for hire. Ask Leonie for pricing
We do not offer individual tastings but do invite you to one of our restaurant lunches or evenings and we can do a wine tasting with you and ensure that you are confident that our food is amazing.
We can offer a food tasting with you at the new Collector Tasting Room which will be opening from February 2026
We will do our best to accommodate a time and day that suits you. Our preference is Thursday anytime, Friday before 12noon or Saturday before 11am.
The Old Coach House is accessible for wheel chairs and also has wheel chair accessible bathrooms.
There is plenty of off street parking?
There is a designated smoking area and strict rules regarding disposal of cigarette butts. Leonie can advise on this.
We love pets but do advise that they are not allowed in the buildings at The Old Coach Stables unless they are an assistant dog, so might be better left with a sitter.
We are committed to recycling, we source ethically grown and sustainable produce and utilise local providers where ever we can.
We recycle plus we have chickens for food scraps.
We can offer assist with sourcing suppliers for your wedding. Just ask Leonie and she will send through our dream team list.
