From the moment we started planning our wedding with Zest, we knew we were in the best hands. Rafaela, our Events Manager, was absolutely phenomenal. She was incredibly thorough from the very beginning through to the final handover of our items after the big day. Her organisation, professionalism, and calm nature made us feel supported and confident with every decision. She guided us through every conversation with care and ensured no detail was overlooked. It was clear from day one that Rafaela is a true expert in her field, and we would recommend her to any couple considering Zest for their wedding. Rafaela also liaised directly with all our vendors before the day, which meant we went into the weekend feeling completely stress-free. That level of service continued with the entire Zest team, who were nothing short of outstanding. We’d seen how incredible the staff were during our food tasting, but they truly went above and beyond on our wedding day. From the beautifully curated Gin Bar and Dumpling Station to the thoughtful touches like ensuring we had our full drinks and canapé offering in the bridal suite (yes—all of the wines from our selection, not just a tasting!), the team made sure we could fully enjoy every moment. We were able to mingle, eat, drink, and soak it all in without ever feeling like we were missing out. During the reception, the service was impeccable. Staff moved seamlessly throughout the room, ensuring our guests were well-fed and never without a drink. Whether it was wine, gin, beer, or cocktails, they made sure everyone had what they needed—no one went hungry or thirsty, and certainly no one needed a Maccas run afterwards! The ceremony on the lower deck was stunning, and the team worked quickly and discreetly to clear the space afterwards so we could take advantage of the beautiful backdrop for photos. Zest's in-house styling options were another huge highlight. The range of choices allowed us to truly personalise our reception, and the fact that everything was handled internally made the whole process so much more enjoyable and stress-free. Walking into our reception left us speechless—it was everything we had dreamed of and more. The way our vision came to life brought tears to our eyes. It was truly the most seamless and perfect day. We are still getting messages days later about the food, drinks, Gin Bar, Dumpling Station, service and overall atmosphere—a true testament to the incredible job done by Zest. The most incredible venue, with an amazing room and beautiful view. We had the most amazing wedding reception there. The wedding package covers everything and the space looked incredible on the night. The food was delicious and had a number of guests comment on the menu and that they all felt well fed which in our experienced has lacked at other wedding venues. While a beautiful venue with everything you need the standout is the incredible team who made sure the day ran smoothly and we had the best time. OUr guests commented on the great service, food and that the whole night felt relaxed which is exactly what we wanted for our reception. I cannot speak highly enough of Rafaela and Martin. They made the whole day seamless. From helping with off site ceremony additions/advice to advice in the lead up and bringing everything together on the day there was little room for us to have much to worry about. It felt like they both went above and beyond for us but I imagine all couples feel this way because they are obviously very good at what they do. Rafaela was so organised, communicative and thought about all the details we needed and executed them so well working with all the vendors. She also did what she could to reduce the little jobs we had. Martine made the night run so smoothly, checking in with us, keeping us on track and ensuring everyone was well looked after. He also helped us with the menu decisions when we attended our tastings.

We felt so supported and understood throughout the entire process, and it truly made all the difference. We chose a roving dinner format, and it was perfect — relaxed, elegant, and vibrant. The pizza station was out of this world (seriously, guests are still raving about it!), and the Negronis flowing all night were the cherry on top. Every single item was gluten-free, which was no small feat, and yet nothing felt compromised — in fact, it was some of the best food we’ve ever had. The decorations were breathtaking — effortlessly stylish, romantic, and perfectly suited to the waterfront setting. It felt like stepping into a dreamscape, with every detail thoughtfully curated and executed to perfection. From start to finish, the entire evening was flawless. Zest truly knows how to create something extraordinary, and our hearts are full of gratitude for the care, love, and professionalism they brought to our celebration. Choosing Zest for our wedding reception was one of the best planning decisions we made. The venue is beautiful, and the entire night was executed seamlessly and perfectly. We are still hearing glowing feedback about the food and the unique atmosphere. For many of our guests, this was their first time at Zest and they continuously commented that the venue felt very charming and wonderfully 'different' from the usual wedding formats. The extended canapés option was a massive hit! It was a brilliant suggestion, allowing our guests more time to mingle freely before the seated portion of the evening. As the couple, it felt so relaxed greeting our guests at each table when everyone was already standing, mingling and moving around freely rather than a formal seated approach. The entire Zest team, from admin and managers to the chefs, bar staff, and servers, made us feel incredibly well looked after throughout the night. Special shout-outs to Maree and Martin. Maree (Planning) - She made all of our planning and communications so much easier and more fun to navigate than we anticipated. From offering us coffees at meetings to always being patient and cool with all of our questions. Wedding planning can be tiring but we always felt good, supported and having made progress with each meeting we had with Maree. Martin (Night-of Coordinator): He was absolutely fantastic, charming and helpful in all his interactions on the night. From briefing us for our bridal entrance (a core memory because he made the lead-up such a cool experience!) right up to waiting with us outside at the end of the night for our Uber to arrive and seeing us off. We really appreciated his and the team's genuine care and warmth. We felt very well looked after and the level of service we received at Zest notably exceeds the level of service you would expect from nice places! A very heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Zest, for making our wedding day so memorable. The space is incredible, and everything on our night was timed and delivered so seamlessly.
