OVERVIEW

In 2014 a new home was established at 60 Olivers Rd McLaren Vale, including cellar door, restaurant, and wedding venue.
Steve's holistic philosophy to winemaking starts with our climate, empahasises the importance on the vineyard, as well as wine's relation to food we love to grow, cook, and eat.
Stephen Pannell was recently named Gourmet Traveller Wine 2015 Australian Winemaker of the Year.
Establishing his own label, S.C.Pannell Wines in 2004, Stephen with wife Fiona, have recently opened their long awaited cellar door in the heart of McLaren Vale.
Stephen’s extensive winemaking knowledge and experience has been garnered over years working with some of the world’s most prestigious wineries. He was Chief Red Winemaker at BRL Hardy from 1999 to 2003 and has worked 14 European vintages in Burgundy, Bordeaux, Barolo and Priorat.

S.C Pannell provided all the food and drinks (we did however supply a firepit full of drinks for before the ceremony so people could have a drink while they wait for ceremony to begin.

We had both the ceremony and reception here. The Event coordinator was fantastic, took care of everything and made it very easy. Food and service was all good on the night.

S.C. Pannell was our ceremony & reception venue, and food & drinks people!! The food was AMAZING!! The view from the lawn, deck & dining is stunning with vineyards surrounding, and the sunset was so pretty. Rob was fun to work with and it was always easy to catch up!

Rob and the team at S. C. Pannell gave us the perfect venue for our wedding ceremony on the lawns, pre-dinner drinks on the deck and reception in the hall. The venue is beautiful, plus located with a beautiful view over McLaren Vale. The food and wine were delicious, plus the team went out of their way to be accommodating of any questions or requests that we had. Thank you!
