If having your dog at your wedding matters to you, A Pawfect Day by Oscar Meets Hugo makes it easier to include them without asking a guest to manage leads, timing or supervision. Elisa provides calm, one-on-one wedding dog attendance across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, with personalised support shaped around your dog and your wedding plans.
Before the wedding, you’ll meet Elisa for a required Meet & Greet, giving her the chance to get to know your dog and talk through the details of the day. From there, your wedding dog attendance is tailored to suit your plans, with support available for ceremonies, photos, handovers and other key moments.
Whether your dog is joining you for the ceremony, appearing in your wedding photos or spending just part of the day with you, Elisa provides dedicated care while you focus on celebrating. With wedding-specific experience, pet first aid training and a calm, organised approach, Oscar Meets Hugo helps make your dog’s involvement feel considered from the start.

About
Inspired by her first puppy, Hugo, and her in-laws’ senior dog, Oscar, she understands that every dog has different needs, personalities and comfort levels. Since 2024, Elisa has personally helped couples include their dogs in their wedding day with thoughtful planning and professional care. She is police checked, pet first-aid trained and fully insured.

A little extra care for your best friend
Easy Weddings couples receive 30 minutes of complimentary additional care, subject to availability. This extra time can be used for a relaxed walk, before- or after-event care, or simply helping your dog settle in at home after an exciting day.

There are lots of ways to include your dog in your wedding ceremony and photographs, depending on their personality, training and comfort level. They might greet guests, walk down the aisle as a ring bearer or flower dog, accompany someone in the wedding party, sit beside you during the ceremony or simply join you for a few special photographs.
At Oscar Meets Hugo, we help you choose roles that suit your dog rather than asking them to manage something that may feel overwhelming. We work with your celebrant, photographer and venue team to coordinate each moment, while closely monitoring your dog’s comfort and body language throughout the day. If they need a break, we can step away for a relaxed walk or find a quiet place for them to settle before deciding whether they are ready to rejoin the celebrations.
We recommend enquiring as soon as you know your wedding date, particularly for popular wedding months, weekends and dates around public holidays. Early planning also gives us time to arrange a Meet & Greet, understand your dog’s needs, confirm venue requirements and create a tailored runsheet. We service weddings across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
We monitor your dog’s body language throughout the day and adjust their involvement if needed. If they show signs of stress, we may move to a quieter area, take them for a relaxed walk, offer a break or arrange for them to leave the venue earlier. Dogs are individuals, and a successful dog-friendly wedding is not about making them participate in every moment — it is about helping them enjoy the parts that suit them.
Other than your dog and their usual walking equipment, we generally provide the essentials needed for their care. This may include water, bowls, treats, waste bags, towels and other practical items.
Please let us know about any dietary requirements, medication, mobility needs, preferred treats or special routines during the Meet & Greet or in the lead up to your wedding day.
If you have chosen specific wedding attire for your dog, you are welcome to provide that for us to use on the day.
