You can ask any family or friend to take your bags to the hotel or you can drop it off wiithin the week to reception and ask them to place them in your hotel room on the day of your booking.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

If your husband to be or other people are the hotle then ask them to take this for you. I would suggest you give it to someone who is reliable and who you can trust with your items ensuring they get to the right location.

As a final suggestion to ensure it is done right and you are not stressed about it maybe organise with the gotel for yourself to drop it off a day before.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Dear Bride and Congrats on your engagement!!

It's a very good question and an item that many brides forget about until the last minute.  You have a number of options regarding your and your fiancee's bags:

If you have a wedding planner they will usually collect your bags a day or two before the wedding and ensure that they are delivered to your hotel.  Most hotels have a luggage storage area where your bags can be safely stored until you arrive.  Your planner would ensure that the hotel is instructed to place your bags in your room prior to your arrival.

If you don't have a wedding planner you should have someone who is your point person for the day - this should not be a member of your bridal party as they will be involved in supporting you directly and won't have the time to leave your side.  The point person should arrange the bag delivery either the day before - alternatively they can be responsible for placing your bags in the boot of your car you will use to drive to the hotel.

Another tip: you should have a clutch that is taken to the reception that includes items for makeup touchups, and any other essentials you might need post ceremony.

I hope this helps.  Feel free to contact me directly for any further advice.

Happy planning!

Gill
