If I don't have a wedding planner, can I still get an on the day coordinator?

Yes this is still possible if some wedding planners have this option as part fo their servcies. Our business does as little or as much as you like however you still need to spend a large amount of time with the person to coordinate this so they know all your expectations and so on.

Good question! A lot of couples don't realise how affordable an on the day wedding coordinator can be and handy too!
Well done on planning your own wedding, it's not easy doing it yourself :) 
The bonus of an on the day coordinator would be that you get to relax and just enjoy the moment rather than wondering if the cake arrived on time, not something you should be worrying about when you’re getting all glammed up to marry your man :)

Some planners offer services that can bring everything together for you on the day to make life easier, best to do some research before making a choice :) 

Be sure you hire someone you get a long with and feel comfortable with that will complete the service your looking for.

I have brides that go with the full wedding planning package, or the day only coordination.

I offer 3 different packahes as well as tailoring a package that suits the individual couple.

If the bride only wants the services of the wedding planner just for the day coordination, it is very important that

the wedding planner is familiar with every aspect of the wedding. She will need to have contact details for all the suppliers involved in order for the wedding planner to make sure that everything runs smoothly on the day.

Having a wedding coordinator on the day allows the bride and the family members to relax, enjoy the day without the stress of making sure that everything is running on schedule. Any hiccups, if any will be sorted out by the wedding planner.

Some planners do offer on the day co-ordination.  This is usually taking over the planning 1 - 2 weeks out (perhaps 1 month depending), but with you taking care of all your own sourcing, negotiating and bookings.  A planner will come in and make sure it all runs smoothly on the day, as lots of different service providers running their own agenda with what they require, can definitely become an issue.
