Hi Bride

You can do both either way your guest have a choice as to a way they can get you a gift.
There are diiferent way you can approach both of these methods but it is your day after all.

Enjoy your planning

Hi and Congrats on your engagement.

Both a wishing well and a gift registry are appropriate.  It's good etiquette not to include these details in the invitation itself but rather to include a separate note with a light hearted poem or words to the effect that your guests' presence is gift enough, but if they wish to make a gift either the registry or a wishing well would be appreciated.

Happy planning

Hi Bride, congrats on your up and coming wedding.

You can do both :) have a gift registery  and a wishing well when you send out your invites in the back have a poem or Nicky written emote stating what you wish for ;)
