Hi Cheryl,
I usually find the couples who hire me as a wedding planner are either very busy and time poor, or don't know where to start and need some guidance through the process. In terms of what you get for your money, it depends on what type of service you require. Some brides want help in the lead up to the wedding and on the day, others just want someone to write a program for the days events and be there to make sure everything runs smoothly.
The feedback I get from couples ranges from having taken the stress out of the planning to saving them from having a lot of arguments! Please feel free to contact me if you need further assistance.
Regards Michele
Hi Cheryl,
Having a planner guide you through your planning process and take on a majority of the leg work and research is highly recommended depending on what kind of a person your are and what kind of help you need; If you are time poor, busy at work or with anything else then a planner can be a huge benefit. If you are super organised and love the process, you could probably do it yourself but I would always recommend having someone there to run your day so you can just relax.
A good planner will take away a whole lot of your stress by doing most of the work. Will save you money by having vendor connections and negotiating on your behalf. Will help you allocate your budget and suggest things you may not have thought about. A good planner will normally end up paying themselves off with any savings they make for you. Hope this helps a bit.
Good luck with everything and if you need any help don't hesitate to get in touch!

Hi Cheryl,
I do understand your confusion. Let me make the point short and clear.
There three important factors to hold up a good wedding planning experience if you do your own. Passion (why you do it), patience (how you do it) and time (when you do it).
I am not talking about passion and patience here, they are factors you could actually own them. I am talking about the factor that cannot be easily controlled - TIME which reflect your availability and consistency. Wedding planners have all three core units to make a wedding go very smooth, in the other word, you are not only buying services from wedding planner, in fact, you are actually buying their times and skills to extend yours, and plus they have better resources to get your better deals. ;)
I guess that could help you out a little bit when you making decisions. Good luck and all the best for everything. In case you wanna talk, here is the contact: info@fablestudio.co
