Hi! I am getting married in a few weeks but one special family member can't be there. Is it reasonable to have another much smaller wedding for her? or is that absolutely nuts? haha

Hey there!
How much fun is planning a wedding?!
I understand too well how important it is to have your loved ones there by your side on your big day. It is, after all, the reason that we throw a big celebration in the first place! (Plus it can become quite fun to do!)
I think that a second wedding is definitely a feasible option for most. Some people get married 5 times - to the same person!
Many items can be re-used from your big day, which can help to save on a lot of costs, and some of your suppliers might be able to offer a cheaper rate on their products, as all the 'fine details' have already been decided from your first wedding!
However, if your budget does not allow you to enjoy a second wedding, you can always carry a photo charm on your bouquet, have an empty seat at a table for them, or even set up a live feed for them to watch, from wherever they may be! Each gesture will be appreciated by them, nonetheless.
Get in touch if you'd like to discuss other ideas.

Jacinta Collins
