About
I found my love for the 'backstage' world when I was 16, and over the past 10+ years have grown my experience and vast array of knowledge of event managements through theatre, festivals, production administration, parades and so much more. My event management skills combined with my administration skills come together perfectly for your wedding with organisation and attention to detail. Some say I work too hard, but when you love what you do, it's not really considered 'work', is it?

FAQ
Depending on the services you're after, I can accept bookings from as far as 3 years in advance, to 1 week before the big day.
Afraid your day is getting too close? It's never too late to ask... I can sometimes get a few random weeks with no events scheduled in and might have the gap in my calendar to help you out!
As an experienced event planner, I am able to provide you with a large range of options to suit your day.
Having done previous work in technical production in theatres and on festivals, means I can offer a larger range of services that many other planners might not.
I understand that a pre-made package might not suit you, so get in touch and lets put together a package that works.
I aim to take on about 2 or 3 weddings a month, depending on the clients needs and the services they'd like me to provide.
This is so I can take the time to focus on your wedding or event with no distractions.
I like to give myself enough time to be fully prepared, with a detailed schedule, a clear mind and plenty of energy to take on anything that gets thrown your way.
Some weddings may require me to manage and coordinate everything, and other weddings may require On The Day Coordination only, so my schedule can change from month to month, but I will always give your wedding 100% of my attention.

Hi! I am getting married in a few weeks but one special family member can't be there. Is it reasonable to have another much smaller wedding for her? or is that absolutely nuts? haha

Hey there!
How much fun is planning a wedding?!
I understand too well how important it is to have your loved ones there by your side on your big day. It is, after all, the reason that we throw a big celebration in the first place! (Plus it can become quite fun to do!)
I think that a second wedding is definitely a feasible option for most. Some people get married 5 times - to the same person!
Many items can be re-used from your big day, which can help to save on a lot of costs, and some of your suppliers might be able to offer a cheaper rate on their products, as all the 'fine details' have already been decided from your first wedding!
However, if your budget does not allow you to enjoy a second wedding, you can always carry a photo charm on your bouquet, have an empty seat at a table for them, or even set up a live feed for them to watch, from wherever they may be! Each gesture will be appreciated by them, nonetheless.
Get in touch if you'd like to discuss other ideas.

Where can I save money?
Are there any elements that you think are just unnecessary?
Events By Jacinta
Hi there,
You will always look back at your day and there will be things you will wonder why you spent money on.
The answer may vary from person to person, but your best way is by deciding, what is important to you?
Below are a few things to consider. Please just take the advide that is relevant for you.
Invitations - Keep it simple! Costs can add up quite quickly when you add that extra embossing or gold foil, then multiply it by how many copies you need. Don't forget that you need RSVP's, Registry, Map/Directions, and all the other bits too!
Thank You Gifts - You don't want to give something cheap and nasty, but you also don't want to spend something ridiculous. If you're looking at $8 per person, and 100 guests, that's $800! Why not donate $100 to a charity of your choice, and let the guests know where the money went? No one dislikes money going to a good cause.
Videographer - How many times will you actually watch your wedding video? These days videographers put together a short video of your whole day, which is what you will be sharing with your family and friends. Cut costs by going with 1 videographer instead of 2 and having the short video as your momento.
Bouquet Toss - A lot of brides order a second bouquet specifically for the toss. If you haven't got you heart set on keeping your bridal bouquet, then why not throw yours at the toss?
These are just a few of the ways you can save money.
Good Luck with your planning!
