We are unsure of the services we need. Do you provide a no obligation (to book) free meeting?

Upon A Star Events

Yes we do! We would really like to know all about what your plans and vision for your event prior to quoting, to ensure we can  provide you with an accurate proposal for our services and of course to see if we are the right fit for you! These can be done via Skype, Zoom ,Facetime or phone. Video camera optional! 

I'm a DIY Bride and just need assistance with the on the day setup and details. Can you assist?

Upon A Star Events

Yes! When in fact most people think this is something they can conquer themselves or hand over to a family member or friend, it can be hard work at times, especially on hot sunny days. However it pays to have someone doing the run around - setting up your placecards, moving your ceremony furniture to the cocktail area of your reception area and lighting those candles for you... plus so much more! We can be that person for you!

Can I book my own suppliers from out of the area rather than use local suppliers?

Upon A Star Events

Your best friend may be a photography whizz, or your fiances Aunty may be a florist and you want to secure her services for the big day...and that's totally fine.  We are open to this, but with all your other suppliers we have the close relationships and networks with local providers so know their products and services. We will help you carefully select your vendors which will not only be on board with your vision and style for the day, but also work within your budget also. 

Do you offer styling services?

Upon A Star Events

We don't provide stryling services. However in order to support the planning phase, its preferable to establish a look and feel for the day. We include the creation of a mood board which is an important tool, to communicate to your potential vendors so they get a good understanding of the vibe/theme that you would like to have on your wedding day. All the decoration elements for the day- we handover to a stylist. Essentially your stylist will create the overall look and feel for the day, but your planner or coordinator (that's me!) will manage the paperwork, budgets and logistical elements for you. They are two quite different roles!

Do you have a COVID-19 Policy in place? What can we expect if we did have to postpone?

In the unfortunate circumstance that you may have to postpone or cancel your wedding due to state imposed Public Health Orders, we will most certainly work with you to postpone or reschdule your date. This may include notifying and assisting with rescheduling your vendors where applicable. It hasn't been an easy period to navigate, but rest assuared we are here to help in whatever you decide and ensure that your planning journey be as easy and stress free as possible!
