Need help with seating arrangements
When you do seating arrangements, is table 1 generally the brides family plus the partners of the wedding party? How would you seat the grooms parents if they are both remarried and really don't get along?

Hi Hayley, Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I don't believe there are any rules for seating, it's really up to you. Personally, I would place family on 1-2 tables if you are doing round tables and if you are doing long tables, place family members who don't get along on either end. I would put partners of bridal party on a separate table together or with other close friends. Hope this helps! Natalie - EventZen

Hi Cheryl,
Having a planner guide you through your planning process and take on a majority of the leg work and research is highly recommended depending on what kind of a person your are and what kind of help you need; If you are time poor, busy at work or with anything else then a planner can be a huge benefit. If you are super organised and love the process, you could probably do it yourself but I would always recommend having someone there to run your day so you can just relax.
A good planner will take away a whole lot of your stress by doing most of the work. Will save you money by having vendor connections and negotiating on your behalf. Will help you allocate your budget and suggest things you may not have thought about. A good planner will normally end up paying themselves off with any savings they make for you. Hope this helps a bit.
