Why hire a Wedding Planner instead of DIY?

That is a great question,

As a wedding planner I will never tell you not to DIY anything you wish to create for your special day as I understand its can be the smallest details that means the most whether it’s a photo of your loved one on your bridal bouquet to creating I DO on your wedding shoes.

At Giles Events we have found that our couples appreciate having a wedding planner on their team can keep them within budget, on task and we will execute anything you don't have time for. We also are there to fight for your wedding vision and try keep the wedding planning as stress free as possible which leaves our couples relaxed and in control for their Wedding Day.

So, the real question is WHY haven't you booked a Wedding planner to help relieve you while planning your wedding day?

Giles Events office hours are from 10am -5pm

We have packages to suit each couple whether it’s just to assist with setting up on the day to planning your wedding day from the beginning to end.

How will I feel once the wedding is over?

Every person is different but all do feel an more intimate connection with their loved one

We will be changing the location of the wedding?

We will be changing the location of the wedding. I've already sent out invitations. What would be the best way to let everyone know? All other details remain the same. It really would only be the change of venue.

I would suggest ringing the suppliers first then I would suggest to any Rsvp you may have recieved - give them a call or email and just let them know of the different venue and if they can reply with a ok so you can cross them off your list of whom you have informed. I am sure your guests wont mind. :)

Do people send thank you cards anymore?

In todays busy lifestyle it often forgotten - It is now rare that you will recieve a hand written thank you note. :(

Emails and reviews have replaced this intimate gesture.

Giles Events actually sends a thank you card to our couples as we believe its nice to recieve and suggest our brides and grooms to send their thank you cards out just a few day before wedding if they have the time to thank their family and friends for attending their special day <3

I honestly believe its up to the couples.
