Perfection down to the detail. Hunter Events offers end to end service for your wedding, as planners and stylists. Louise called me within 2 minutes of submitting my query, and she welcomed us into her office to discuss our wedding planning needs. Every single detail was considered and she has a wide network of contacts within the Hunter Region and NSW to bring your vision to life. Her team always followed up and kept track of costs, suppliers and communications. Louise and team are like family and we had such a positive experience with Hunter Events. We are terribly sad that our wedding is over and we will miss them dearly!. Louise always has a solution and contingencies for her couples and is a problem solver. Planning your wedding locally can already be stressful, but when you add in the factors of longer travel distances and an unfamiliar location, things can become far more complicated than you might have imagined.

Destination weddings don’t happen every day, so when they do, it’s an exciting experience for everyone involved!

We support you from the very first “yes” all the way through to the last dance, and we can be there with you on the day to ensure everything is organised for you,  the entire day runs smoothly and to troubleshoot any issues that may arise so you can enjoy your wedding stress-free.

Planning a destination wedding can be challenging. Finding the right vendors takes time, budgets can be stretched, and the logistics can become complicated.

It’s important to consider your location. If your destination has a good range of local wedding vendors, that can reduce some pressure. However, if it’s a more remote location, vendors may need to travel, which could result in additional travel costs to consider and increased difficulty in locating preferred vendors.

Yes, absolutely! When our couples begin their search for the perfect venue, your wedding planner will first work to understand your preferred wedding location whether that’s in the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Central Coast, Port Stephens, Sydney, or any other destination you have in mind.

Once we’ve established a location, we’ll discuss the type and style of venue that aligns with your vision and budget. The venue’s style plays a key role in shaping the overall aesthetic of your day, whether you’re dreaming of a rustic farm setting, a modern and luxurious space, outdoor, or beach style celebration, etc.

Your budget is a crucial factor in this process, and your wedding planner will help you navigate different venue options from fully inclusive venues (covering ceremony, reception, catering, beverages, and accommodation) to partially inclusive or complete DIY venues. While all-inclusive venues typically come at a higher price point, they offer greater convenience by streamlining multiple wedding elements through one provider. On the other hand, DIY venues often require sourcing separate vendors for catering, beverages, furniture hire, generators, marquee hire (if needed), and more.

Once we’ve curated a list of venues suited to your style and budget, you’ll select your favourites, and your wedding planner will coordinate guided tours of each venue arranging them in the most efficient order for your convenience. After viewing, you’ll choose your ideal venue and then revisit it with your wedding stylist to begin the exciting design and planning process.
