My name is Kathryn Giess and I am the proprietor of Ultimatelegance Event & Wedding Planning. I provide a comprehensive planning & co-ordination service, in the Brisbane, Ipswich, and coast areas, I’m also available for interstate work. I have recently graduated from the LAMODE College of Wedding and Event Styling. I have also graduated from the international school of Qc Event & Wedding Planning to which I have also obtained my International Wedding Planning diploma

It is only a common courtesy to supply your photographer & videographer with a meal if the day runs into the evening, as they will be hungry, but keep in mind you might have a couple of no shows on they day so you can cover this by giving them a meal anyway.

getting an inexperienced photographer this is the one area you should not cut costs on and you must check there previo us work as you only get one change on the day to get everything captured correctly especially table settings etc
another issue is underestimating costs before you have found out the true costings as this will effect your overall budget,
dont underestimate the time to book venues so far in adavance as they can book out years in advance if popular
leave extra money in your budget for last minute items example wrong colour ties or something
you take a risk ordering online as you cannot check quality or sizing
check what you are paying for ask lots of questions make sure you are fully aware of what is going on
choose your bridal party carefully and prepare them up front
dont underestimate the time taken for any DIY tasks
check arragements the week before to check your vendors are on track

If you RSVP for both you need to attend both personally I think it is very rude and disrespectful to the couple but if something really bad happens you can excuse yourself to the bride and groom asap and maybe then you can other arrangements can be made if possible
