Alice Mary Events is a boutique wedding and event planning service located in Adelaide. I can not say good enough things about Alice, the founder of Alice Mary Events. From the moment I met her we absolutely hit it off. Being of similar age i felt i could relate to her instantly and it made the wedding process that much more comfortable. To say I was an easy bride would be an understatement. I went to her with a vision that my husband and I very much had our hearts set on. She knew the right times to challenge my ideas and also the right times to just let me go!! She was the perfect mix of organiser and support. There were many times especially in the last couple of weeks when times got a little stressful but a couple of phones calls with Alice and I felt better. We had purchased the package where Alice takes over a month before the wedding. I would highly recommend this to any bride, especially the brides that love to be in control. Once I handed over all the plans to Alice my life was substantially easier and I realised I didn't need to be in control, I could just enjoy the lead up. The morning of the wedding I had no worries. I was cool, calm and collected and I can tell you right now there was only one reason for this, because I had a fabulous and capable wedding planner taking care of everything!! I would not have been so relaxed if I didn't know I had someone taking care of things. Having a wedding planner was the best choice we ever made. She was our support, our rock, organised all suppliers in the weeks before, set up and coordinated the wedding, fixed any hiccups and was even right their behind me fluffing my dress as I came out of the wine cellars and down the grass aisle. If you want to be calm and stress free on your wedding day, do yourself a favour and get yourself a wedding planner like Alice, it is worth the investment. Megan & Michael x
