sur le coeur photography offers couples an vibrant and color rich visual retelling of their wedding. Through our photos, we strive to showcase the depth, personality understanding, and heart shared between a couple - and with their loved ones. 'Mental picture' souvenirs (like in The Office) - reminding you of yourselves + the journey you choose.

Ultimately, that will depend on whether you’ve set that out in your event/wedding.
Some weddings feature them, and if they are - we’ll capture them as part of the day’s narrative.
ONE: Once you’ve sent an enquiry for a quote, we’ll send you our brochure with our services + we’ll give you a quote (you can also download the brochure from our EasyWeddings Page).
If you’re okay with our offer – we book in a 20 minute ZOOM call.
TWO: During the 20-minute ZOOM call – we discuss the plan for your wedding day – and any specific requirements you have (plus get to know you a bit too). After that, if you’re both good to go ahead with us, then…
THREE: We’ll confirm with you via email – and we’ll be in touch between the time of the ZOOM call – and the time of the wedding. We’ll touch base and check in 1-2 weeks before the wedding.
FOUR: Your wedding – you enjoy your day. We capture that enjoyment.
FIVE: Editing and gallery preparation – taking photos from in camera, and giving them a brush up – to look cinematic and make colors pop nicely on the screen.
SIX: You will receive your online gallery within 1-2 weeks after your wedding. You’ll have options to print or frame your photos – through the online gallery host company.
We’ve travelled as far as Singapore for a destination wedding, and in the past - we’d do occasional weddings in the Hunter Valley. So - we don’t see it as an obstacle for us.
In saying that - we don’t want travel to become an obstacle for you.
For weddings outside Sydney, Wollongong and Newcastle/Hunter Valley, a final quote will include a low capped amount for travel expenses - which we can discuss more on a ZOOM call.
Our photos emphasize the candid. But we also include simple directing cues - which help to bring out natural poses.
Ultimately, the choice of wedding photographer depends on whether you feel they gel with you – your style and personality – AND – whether they can tell your story as you want it remembered.
For me, it would be great if our photos can capture all the emotions/surprises/highlights of your day – souvenirs you can keep in your heart as reminders – of who you are + your journey of growth together.

30 to 60 minutes between locations isn’t too much of an ask.
For bride and groom prep – time travel spacing between locations can depend on whether you have 1 or 2 photographers. Having 2 photographers would be advantageous for bride/groom prep – 1 can do bride prep, the other does groom prep.
Photojournalistic. When you look through one of our galleries – it might feel like going through a storyboard.
I have rarely, if at all, cancelled shoots. Once your wedding day is locked in to my calendar, NOTHING ELSE gets scheduled on that day in my calendar.
If there is some significant ‘out of the blue event (e.g. a death or family accident) – I will arrange to have another photographer meet you, whose style is similar to mine. I will pass on your contact details – and some details about what you’re after.
Furthermore – as photographers, it is our responsibility to look after ourselves, and ensure we’re fit and focused for all events. There is really NO excuse for us to be sick.
Direct debit works fine. And no, we don’t ask for deposits. We prefer that you pay once you’ve received your gallery & you’re satisfied with your photos.
We don’t. Instead, we send you an email stating that we’ve agreed to photograph your wedding on this particular date at this location.
