I have more than 10 years experience in shooting weddings, going back to the days when it was shot all on film. Consistent image capture in camera is what I am good at. I dont need to look at the rear screen of the camera to know I have a well exposed and composed image. I know exactly what is required to get all the important shots as well as exploring all the great spontaneous and candid photo opportunities.

I hold professional photographer accreditation with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and have a 10 million dollar public liability insurance. You can search for my AIPP professional profile at http://proweddingphotography.aipp.com.au/directory
I always have spare batteries, a back up camera body, multiple lenses and a back up flash unit should something happen.
The images will be provided as High Resolution images and web resolution images for sharing on social media, on a USB stick. All my collections include photography to the 1st dance at the receoption and at the minimum include an album. Optional extras can be added at an extra cost. Please see the wedding brochure at the bottom of the storefront for information on the collections and extras.
Yes my work is guaranteed offering full refunds if you are not happy with your images. Post processing of images and album design and production takes some time but high resolution files are delivered within one week with albums 2-3weeks which require approval from you before printing.
Yes. I provide a simple straight forward contract which both parties agree with and sign.

When looking for a photographer firstly I would consider whether you connect with the images and check out their testimonials. if you get a good feeling from that then meet face to face with the photographer. From that meeting do you feel comfortable with their manner and then choose on price, what their packages consist of and what their products e.g. albums look like. Obviously you have a budget to consider but its important that the special moments are captured and the photographer blends unobtrusively in to the day.
I would agree with other photographers that:
1. Experience & Manner
2. Quality of Equipment (and back up equipment)
3. Quality of Images (not Quantity)
4. Customer Satisfaction
5. Quality of Products
should all be considered when looking at prices.
can i ask the photographer to only be present at the ceremony?

Yes you can. Whether a photographer will be prepared to just shoot the ceremony with all the costs and time involved is up to them. They would normally charge an hourly rate which will be significantly more than the hourly cost in their packages. The ceremony is obviously a very important element of the wedding day to capture but the really unique and special photos come from the brides preparation and the location shoot. Cutting of the cake and first dance are also memorable moments not to miss. I would suggest at least a 4 hour shoot which would include brides preparation, grooms portraits prior to the ceremony, ceremony, candids after the ceremony and reception seating with cake cutting.
