We promise not to make you say cheese, not to boss you around or in fact direct you in any way.
The absolute most important thing to us, about wedding photography, is that it is real. We have both been a guest at too many weddings where the photographer has interrupted the day by setting up endless group shots and formal photographs.
Our motto is “observation, not orchestration” and we stand by that throughout every wedding.
With our experience and skills in drone photography and underwater photography, we can help create memorable and unique images for your engagement photos and wedding photos.

Orchard Grove Studios is based on the Gold Coast, but we photograph weddings all over. You will find us in Byron Bay, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Tweed Coast, Cabarita and beyond – basically anywhere love takes us! We are a husband and wife photography team who have a passion for creativity and capturing special moments in time. We have been capturing heartfelt moments between many couples for the last 5 years. Absolutely – we love to meet our couples, whether it be face to face over a coffee or we can even arrange a skype call if we can’t get together.
Yes if you are unsure what you might need to capture your day we can chat about that. It really depends of what you have planned for your day, how far away the get ready, ceremony and reception are from each other.
We ask for a $500 deposit to secure your booking and then the balance due on the day.
Yes! We love doing engagement shoots as it gives us a chance to get to know our couples and for our couples to really become comfortable with us.
No problems – a lot of people don’t love it. Getting to know our couples before the day makes a huge difference. We will talk you through it and make you feel as comfortable as we can. We try to avoid overly posed styled photography. We will suggest a few poses to make sure you’re both looking good, but then we will direct you and play around to let it naturally unfold from there. All we ask is that you trust us to do our thing, forget about the cameras, and to remember why you fell in love.
