Jack was gifted a guitar at the age of 7 by his father who himself is an ex-musician. This sparked his initial passion for making music, but it was his grassroots coastal upbringing that further developed his raw yet refined style.
Debut EP - The White Sun
In what can only be described as a heartfelt retelling of his life up until this point, The White Sun is imbued with deeply personal lyrics and captivating hooks reminiscent of artists such as Kim Churchill and Ben Howard. Launched in 2019 under the guidance of distinctive Australian producer Tim Carr (Matt Corby, Julia Stone), this 6-song release explores themes such as authenticity, creativity, romance and the elements.The result is an EP that celebrates life in all its many forms while also exploring humanity's most complex emotions.
