Can you learn our bridal waltz or other special songs?
Melbourne Club Band
Yes! If your event is a wedding you will undoubtedly be planning a first dance, cake cutting, and other special formalities that will make the night meaningful to you. If you have specific songs you would like played for these moment, please let us know well in advance. If we do not happen to know your request(s), we will look into learning one for you (depending on the difficulty etc). We are also totally happy to play any such songs off the iPod if you prefer to dance to the original song (we won’t be offended if you prefer that). If you need us to learn more than one song, it’s definitely possible, please contact us and we can work through them together.
What kind of lighting do you provide?

When you hire our wedding band in Brisbane you also hire some basic lighting for the dance floor, which we bring along with our PA system. It's enough to create some fun dance vibes and if you think you'd like more, talk with your venue or hire some externally.
How long do you play for and how is that spaced out?
Melbourne Club Band
During a 5 hour period the band will play an equivalent of 4 x 45 minute sets. This can be spaced any way you require. For example, a sit down function might have 45 minutes of music while guests arrive and for entree’s, then the band would break over dinner and speeches, ready for the main dance bracket of 3 x 45 minutes sets for the rest of the night. The same sort of structure would apply to a cocktail function. Of course, within reason we are totally flexible on how you space out our time which means we can fit in to any schedule.
What kind of music do you play during the breaks?

We provide all the music you need during our breaks. This includes during the main dance bracket in which the songs a for dancing. Of course, if you would like to supply this music feel free to give us your device to play through our PA We can then play them through our PA to keep people up on the dance floor.
How long for set up and what if we need extra time for canape's or ceremony?

The 5 hour period begins from when the band needs to be fully set up and ready to go. The band will arrive approximately 1 hr prior to start time for setup. Be aware that setting up early or finishing later than the 5 hour mark is considered extra time for the guys and would need to be quoted accordingly. Quinn was great to deal with in the lead up to the wedding. The band has a website portal for you to input all the details, song preferences etc and were very accommodating for what we wanted. On the night we hired one of the band members Antony to be our MC which he did a great job and was entertaining. We also had a third member Kelsey on vocals. All guests raved about the band, they did a great job and the background music most of the night and then amped it up for the dancing. We would recommend this band for any wedding, they offer more than a 3 piece band and can do any types of music just check out their website.

We had the 4 piece band from Summer Club and they kept the dancefloor going all night!! Highly reccomend Summer Club for their beautiful music, great vibe and excellent communication skills.

Summer Club Band did a great job! We had Mary & Cam as our ceremony duo and then they joined a bigger band for the reception and they were perfect.
Guys were great on the night very flexible with changing time lines. A little bit difficult to coordinate with as we were interstate but all worked out in the end!

The band were absolutely sensational! They were one of the standouts of the wedding day.
Radioclub were a fantastic wedding band. We had them for reception music plus a canapes guitar soloist after the ceremony, both were very good. Band play Hey Jude and Wild World by request for first dance. Ran the rest of the music for the night. Would recommend!
We used them for strings in ceremony, acoustic during cocktail hour, and five piece during the party!
