Duan & Only

We stumbled across Duan online around the time we got engaged after seeing him tagged on another vendors Instagram. Right away, we were impressed not only by his incredible voice but also his DJ samples, his style was exactly what we were looking for. We made a trip from Newcastle to Manly one weekend to see him perform live, and we both got goosebumps hearing him sing. His voice was amazing, and he had a great range of songs. We immediately knew we had to have him at our wedding, even checking his availability before finalising our venue! Throughout the whole process Duan exceeded all our expectations. He was so friendly and accommodating, and traveling to Newcastle was no problem for him. The entire experience of working with Duan was a dream. On our wedding night, his singing was just as amazing as we remembered, and when it was time for him to DJ, the atmosphere was such a vibe! The only downside was that the reception felt like it ended way too soon because he'd created such a pumping atmosphere, no one was ready to go! Duan was so lovely to deal with from the initial enquiry right through to the wedding day, he was prompt and clear with his communication. Most of our guests have commented on his music, voice and vibe - including all grandparents were blown away! We can’t thank him enough for playing a pivotal role on our special day in setting the vibe right from the start with his endless talent, our only regret is that we didn’t book him for longer so we could enjoy more! We booked Duan to sing during our cocktail hour and DJ our reception. We told Duan the vibe we wanted for our reception dance floor and he delivered. Having a fun dance floor was important to us and our guests danced all night! Thankyou so much Duan you were so easy to deal with during the planning process and an absolute vibe on the night!

Duan was amazing to deal with from the get go - super responsive with an easy going, flexible approach making him super helpful as a vendor in the lead up to our day. We loved how we could have him play acoustics at cocktail hour before DJ'ing into the night for the reception. His voice is absolutely incredible and he really knew the crowd for the dance floor. So many of our guests commented on how amazing he was and no one was left seated as soon as he got the DF going. We even ended up extending our wedding on the night beyond what we had originally booked him in for and he was more than happy to stay longer for us and continue bringing the vibes. We could not recommend Duan more - he is a no brainer for wedding music as he can literally do it all!

Duan is the best out there, it is genuinely that simple. The passion and pride he takes toward his craft (both singing/guitar/perfoming, as well as DJing) is something you just can't find and we felt so so lucky that he was available for our day (as he's a popular and busy man - for very good reason!!!). It is so difficult to find such a combo out there of an artist with the skill and voice he has, to then back it up and be one of the best DJ's Sydney's wedding industry has to offer in the same breath. Every time we re-watch our ceremony and here his rendition of Adore U that he learnt for our day we tear up, and every time we watch footage of the dance floor late at night it makes us feel so grateful that he could get every wedding attendee out of their seat and on to the dance floor for a big and super fun night, and cater the songs to our liking. He was super easy and professional to deal with in the preparation and gave us so much confidence that he was all over it and had everything taken care of.
