Our tailor-made packages are flexible and cover all music genres! Let us take care of the entertainment from your ceremony to canapes, right through to the very last song on the dance floor with all your family and friends. We can even learn your first dance song and provide MC services.
With the perfect mix of awesome vocals and slick music, everyone will be dancing in no time, young and old alike. If you’re doing a garter toss or throwing of the bouquet, we can help set up the stage to make this fun too.
We have free showcases in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Adelaide so you can get a feel of what we have to offer, plus you can meet us in person. Your Music Planner will give you expert advice on everything from song selections, liaising with the venue and experience you can rely on.

Director and vocalist Javier is a singer, songwriter, and music planner with 25 years experience in the music industry from the UK to Australia. Javier, Director of The Hip Stars Band has the mission to bridge the gap between the service industry musicians and original artists while providing a bespoke service to clients that are in need of quality entertainment for their events.

Our singers and musicians are made up from a collective of experienced seasoned pro's in the service industry. We make sure that all of them fit into the criteria of talent, ability to engage with the audience and professionalism.
After you contact us regarding your wedding day, we will then invite you to one of our shows where you can see us play live! We have Music Planners that will guide you through the process and offer expert advice on everything from song selections, liaising with your venue and band configurations that suit your vision.
So, once you have seen our Stars live and picked your faves! we can send you a formal quote. You will also get your own personalised link that takes you to the back-end booking system so you can have full control of your booking and 24/7 communication with your Music Planner.
We have many different payment options that can help with organisation and budgeting!
We play at a number of different venues around the country so it's always best to go to our website and see where we are at next.
Yes, we do! We cue background music appropriate for your event through an iPod, We are also happy to plug in your playlist!
We have access to amazing musicians specialising in music from a variety of cultural backgrounds including Jewish, Greek, Lebanese and Latin/Spanish music.
