I'm a full-time musician, husband, father and business owner. I have passion around music, self-development, health, events and communication. I've appeared on TV, radio, and newspapers around my original band projects; won Youthrock in 2011 and have always worked hard in music and life. We bring our own tables and cloth fitted linen either black or white to fit in with your event styling.

We provide our own 5m, 10m and 20m long extension leads. If you think there is an issue for power, please contact us to discuss further.

Please provide the following:

  • Location (ceremony/reception addresses.)
  • Services Required (Ceremony, Reception, Acoustic or DJ, canapé hour, etc.)
  • Number of hours for each service.
  • Date of function/wedding (We will confirm availability).
  • Any additional information you think you need to provide.

Yes we do travel to these areas and beyond these regions for a calculated travel fee. This will be provided in your quote.

We are fully insured with full public liability insurance, accidental damage and theft as well as work cover and equipment insurance.

All our leads are tagged and tested to the current year and all meet Australian standards.

A meal is not necessary but a designated professionals meal is always appreciated. If one is not allocated, please let us know so we can prepare something prior.

There are not enough words or stars to describe or recommend Nick. He is a truely talented musician who goes above and beyond to make your special day absolutely perfect. Nick is so easy to communicate with, has answers to questions before you even think to ask them and knows how to cater to any type of audience or group. As well as being incredibly talented, Nick is the ultimate professional. The moment you lay eyes on Nick you will feel calm and know everything is going to come together beautifully. Nick has the most phenomenal voice and presence and won over every single guest at our wedding. Every single person commented on how amazing Nick was and wanted to know how we found him. During dinner everyone was absolutely captivated watching and listening to Nick perform acoustically.

We found nick on easy weddings - and easy was the booking and planning with Nick! He was very flexible when we had to postpone our wedding date due to COVID lockdowns. On the day, all our guests kept telling us how great Nick and the music was! Nick was easy going, friendly and professional. He is very talented and we had the best time dancing the night away with him coordinating all the live/acoustic and DJ music. He even took plenty of photos and videos of us and our guests living it up on the dance floor once our photographer/videographer finished. Couldn’t recommend Nick more highly! Definitely book him for all music - ceremony, canapés and reception.

How long should we have a sax player for at our wedding reception?

I want to have a sax player at my wedding reception but I'm not sure how long they should play for - any suggestions?

Nick Read

Standard set would be have them play during your bridal entrance and then jump on two DJ sets at the end when it comes to dance time. Otherwise if it's a band, they'll generally go in and out of band sets.
