With her Yamaha Electric Cello and a sophisticated loop station, April artfully weaves together the many sounds of the cello to create a rich and full string sound that rivals that of a traditional string quartet – all in one neat, petite package!
If you are after your favourite song performed for that special moment, April is more than happy to accommodate! She has a wide range of popular wedding songs in her song list, and is happy to learn new songs too!
April’s entertaining performance is full of contemporary heart-warming, swoon-inducing, and toe-tapping songs that you and your guests will know and love.
Amplification is a must for the musical performance, so the performance space needs to be located within 20 metes of a power point. April will be equipped with all other gear to complete the set up.
Adequate shelter from rain, strong winds and intense heat must be provided for the performance, which may include providing a sheltered location or shelter if needed. Protection from the elements is critical for April's cello and equipment. Please also have a wet weather option on hand!
April mostly plays for the Wedding Ceremony (pre-ceremony music, ceremony music, and post-ceremony music) as well as afternoon entertainment while the Bridal Party are having photos taken and your guests are mingling and canapes / drink are being served. The length of time is really dependent on how quickly (or slowly) these sections of the wedding move, and she is happy to be flexible on the day to accommodate to your needs.
