Rhythm and Beats DJ Services

I’m Kev, owner and DJ behind Rhythm and Beats, and I personally look after every wedding from the planning stage through to the final song. There’s no outsourcing to another DJ and no generic formula — you work directly with me to create a soundtrack that reflects you as a couple and the kind of celebration you want.

Music planning can be as detailed or relaxed as you like. Share your favourite artists, genres, must-play songs and do-not-plays, or provide playlists for different parts of your wedding. Your guests can also submit song requests through my dedicated QR music portal before the wedding, giving me an even better feel for the music your crowd will respond to.

On the night, I bring those preferences together with experienced crowd reading and seamless mixing. Rather than relying on a predetermined playlist, I let the music move naturally with the room — whether that means old-school R&B and hip hop, disco and retro classics, pop, house and EDM, Latin music or a mix spanning generations.

I also take care of more than the dance floor. I work with your venue and other wedding suppliers to help keep your reception timeline running smoothly and make sure important moments such as entrances, speeches, formal dances and the final song happen at the right time. Professional MC services are also available if you’d like me to manage both the music and formalities.

Everything is presented with a clean, modern setup, professional sound and tasteful lighting designed to complement your venue rather than dominate it.
