Tarkine Strings

Solo, duet, trio and string quartet performances available in a range of musical styles including classical, jazz and contemporary.

The Tarkine Strings musicians are able to offer a wide range of instrument combinations including violin, viola, cello, guitar, bass and vocals.

Our musicians can change instruments and musical styles to cater for the dynamics of your wedding. For example, we can start with a classical string quartet for the arrival of your guests, the formal ceremony and signing of the register. We can then transition to a contemporary string band as the formal ceremony concludes and the refreshments are served.

CEREMONY
We are able to perform during the following segments of your ceremony:
-Background music for your guests before and after the ceremony
-Entrance of the Bridal Party
-Register signing
-Exit of the Bridal Party
-Other segments (as required)

RECEPTION
Music performed live provides an elegant and joyous atmosphere as the wedding celebrations commence. We are able to perform during the following segments of your wedding:
-As your guests arrive for pre-dinner drinks
-Entry of the newly weds
-Cake cutting
-Bridal waltz
-Background music during dinner

-Contemporary band for post-dinner celebration
