Can we meet with the DJ before the Wedding?

You can most definitely meet with the DJ for your Wedding, in fact we prefer that this happens each and every time, that's why a consultation is included in our package.

A big part of our success is working with you and getting an idea and feel for your vision on the night. Your consulation will include everything from music preferences,run sheet planning and vibe you want for your Wedding.

Can we pick/request songs?

Yes it is very important to us that you also give your picks/requests to us so we can make sure the music and vibe is right for you and your guests. We will also give you our expert advise on it and together we will come up with an amazing night of music.

What music do you play?

We will always play music that is suitable for you and your guests, We are quite diverse and do encourage you to have a variety of music for maximum enjoyment for all guests. Usually you will find the music will be songs people know, can sing too, can dance too, songs that make you smile and feel good songs. Whether it's a song from 1976 or the latest radio hit. Good music is good music no matter what style/genre/age it is.

Are your DJ's vaccinated?

We had Jordan from Mercury DJ Hire to DJ and MC our wedding and he was amazing! Our guests were on the dancefloor all night. Communication with Daniel and Jordan in the lead up to our wedding was great, and Jordan made sure to understand the vibe we wanted and pulled it off without a hitch. Our wedding reception with Raf was an absolute blast, and we couldn't have asked for a more talented and professional MC and DJ to keep the party going all night long! Raf took the time to get to know us as a couple, understanding our music preferences, and vision for the reception. As our MC, Raf was an absolute superstar, effortlessly guiding the flow of the evening with his charismatic personality and infectious energy. He kept the crowd engaged and entertained throughout the reception, seamlessly transitioning between announcements, speeches and entertainment. When it came time to hit the dance floor, Raf's music selection was spot-on, catering to guests of all ages and tastes. What's the best way to incorporate Greek and English music at our reception?

Hi there. My partner is Greek, and I'm Aussie, and our guest list reflects roughly half and half. Wanting to ensure both cultures are represented and have a great time. How best to include music for each so everyone has fun?

hi there, Great question! and a very common occurance for Weddings. It is always best to cater for all guests music tastes and backgrounds. With music we always recommend having a great variery of different music, in your case English and Greek and letting the DJ play the right music at the right time, You won't know exactly how much or how little of each type of music you need, so having a great DJ will help make that work for you on the night.

Is it OK to have a do-not-play list at our wedding?

Hi there. There are some songs I really don't want played at our wedding but I know some of my family will request it. Can I give our DJ a list of these songs - but how do they handle it with the guests? I don't want to offend anyone.

Great question! I would always recommend having a do not play list as there is so much great music to play, its fine to leave some things out. I would also say though if you are not fussed if songs you don't like get played, go with that too as there will be times you may not be on the dance floor but your guests are and they might really vibe to some songs that you may not.

When it comes to your guests requesting songs that you have on your do not play list, its fine for the DJ to politely say the couple didn't want this song unforunately. The guest is usually fine with this.

I say there is no rules and you should do it any way you prefer. But if you want to go with tradition and what usually happens. It is the first dance first, then father daughter dance later in the night.
