About
After completing over 5 years of study doing Engineering in Electronics & Computer Systems at Swinburne University & Sound Engineering at RMIT, I began to DJ & had an incredibly high demand in bookings after each wedding. I employed & trained high-end Wedding DJs to increase our services for demand. I look forward to fully booked weekends each week and remember every newly wedded couple with pride. Yes, most mobile Wedding DJ Services will supply their own sound system. These systems can vary greatly in terms of quality, so it is always best to ask your prospective DJ what they will be supplying. A decent sound system can make all the difference to your big day.
If a DJ does not supply a sound system with their service, this is know as a 'Walk-in, Walk-out' mix. They will pretty much for the most part only show up to the wedding with just their headphones and music which could be on their choice of media such as CDs, USB memory sticks, Portable Hard Drives, Laptops, etc. This particular situation would mean that either the venue has a sound system already pre-installed within the function space or you (the client) have organised a third party to supply a suitable sound system.
A 'Walk-in, Walk-out' mix should also mean that the price of the service is significantly cheaper than if your wedding DJ was to supply the sound system.
Yes! All of our couples receive a dedicated consultation online or over the phone to discuss the requirements and details of their special day.
This includes not only dates, times and services but specifics to music you want anddon't want played at yourwedding, personalisation and custom event plan, coordination with other vendors, wedding itenerary & reception events, name pronounciations for the MC, you name it!
Feel free to give us as little or as much information as you need and we can fill in the blanks to ensure your day is set up in an organised and reliable way so you can enjoy the things that are more important - the celebration!
Fedora DJ's & Photo Booth's offers a wide range of service times and customised event plans. This includes the option for additional time for cocktail hours in between your ceremony and reception for yout guests.
For extra time during the reception after the first included 5 hours, let us know your requirements so our DJ can rock the party to your needs!
