How much do Surreal Living Artistry services cost?

Our entertainment design specialists are dedicated to working within your budget and will do everything we can to provide the entertainment you are dreaming of for your event.

All of our services start with a call out fee and then get 50% cheaper for every hour following the first hour! WOW! That means you can have entertainment for LONGER for LESS per hour! Our entertainment categories each start at a different call out fee price. Please see below the call out fees to see where our prices start.

Our team are a collective of more than 80 internationally acclaimed performing artists, scouted specifically for their dedication in excellence and passion towards their craft. Many of our artists are seasoned travellers, with matured skills from working with globally recognised companies, now returned home to their roots. So you can rest assured knowing that the performing artist that is being sent to your event is the best of the best in their craft and will provide entertainment to the highest world-class professional standard.

I've sent a Quote Request, what happens next?

Our entertainment design specialists will respond to your quote request within 24 hours of submission!
 
If you are requesting a quote for one of our Pre-Designed Services:
1. Our entertainment design specialists will Quote you with a price AND also send an invoice for the 25% non-refundable deposit.
2. Formally accept the quote by paying the 25% non-refundable* deposit.
(This deposit is required to secure performing artist/s for your requested date. Your quote is is an offer that expires after 7 days and must be paid at least 14 days prior to event commencement)
3. The remaining balance is required to be paid before the performing artist team leaves the venue via Online Payment on invoice, Online Transfer, or Eftpos.

If you are requesting a quote for a UNIQUE design by one of our entertainment design specialists:
1. Our our team will respond with an invitation to a FREE consultation
(This will be done through our appointment booking service, Calendly. In this consultation you will be able to express your dream entertainment, guest demographic, theme/style/colour palette for your event. This is a great time for our team to work with you and find out exactly what you're after and make suggestions based upon those requests.)
2. Our entertainment design specialists will Quote you with a price AND also send an invoice for the 25% non-refundable deposit.

Does Surreal Living Artistry provide Flash Mobs?

You've come to the right place: We absolutely do!

Surreal Living Artistry curate proposal and wedding flash mobs according to commission to make this once-in-a-lifetime moment totally intrinsic for you and your partner! Our base flash mob usually consists of 4 industry level dancers, performing with tricks and lifts spun together with the 5 songs of your choice. We suggest a flash mob to be the length of 2 minutes, so it can really capture the wow factor, and it can escalate as much as you like in that time frame. We can do up to 30 performers and incorporate special acts such as fire twirlers, LED butterfly dancers, hoop artists, stilts and roller skates. We can get creative, and if your partner is sitting on a chair for the big moment, our dancers can lift her up while she's in the chair and really make a scene, or she can just watch, it's totally up to you how you would like it be executed, and how dramatic you'd like it to be.

If you&rsquo;d like to add more dancers (of a high-skilled industry level), the price increases by $360/additional dancer. If you&rsquo;d like to add special act performers (fire twirlers etc) the additional price per performer will depend on what special act you require. 
For a 2 minute high energy flash mob performance, we suggest 5 songs. The songs are completely your choice. But there is a secret recipe to making it work well:
For best effect we usually begin with a song that is well known and slow, then a song that picks up the pace and conducts anticipation, then a song that is either &ldquo;parody-like&rdquo; and fun or has intrinsic meaning to you and your partner that she will start to possibly realise what is happening, then a fast celebration-like song (as the crowd will be wanting to join in by this point with clapping along etc!) then finish with a heart-felt song to capture the moment for when you get to pop the question!!
Our team will mix and supply you with a draft song track for you to check before we commence choreography. It's highly recommended that if your partner has a favourite song or a song that is 'your song' as a couple, make sure that it is incorporated into this special moment for you. The other songs that we suggest for proposal flash mobs (but you are by no means are required to choose these) are on a Spotify playlist here:

Let us know if you'd like to bust out a few moves also!! We can incorporate you in the choreography and teach it to you, just let us know your dance ability so we can make it work best for you. It&rsquo;s no worries if you'd prefer to watch the performance with your partner and be ready to pop the question - it will be amazing either way!!
ADDITIONAL PERKS
-Our team can be in costume or civilian clothes at no extra cost - that is totally up to you! We have a wardrobe of over 150 performance costumes that you are welcome to choose from, so let us know what look or theme you'd like to go for.
-Our performance team will organise and supply the music and speakers on the day, so all you will need is you and your very lovely lady ready to go!!

How far does Surreal Living Artistry travel?

Surreal Living Artistry is a mobile entertainment company and and comes to you!
Although our team would usually service the wider region of South-East Queensland, Australia, we are prepared to travel further. However, if your location is further than 300km from South-East Queensland, Australia, a travel fee may be incurred to cover the costs of travel. If a travel fee is required for your event entertainment, the fee will be stated clearly on your quote request.
