A fun, versatile, rocking band that will keep the dance floor jumping!
If you're looking for a fun, versatile, rocking band that will keep the dance floor jumping, The Drowning Sorrows are what you're after. A 3-piece band from Swan Hill, we cover the songs you know by the bands and singers you love. We can be as formal or as casual as you need for your special day!
Since starting in November 2014, we've had amazing support and have appreciated the many happy couples and venues who have booked us for their functions.
The song list is into the big hundreds, and we’re adding songs all the time. We taylor the set lists with the happy couple, and with enough notice, we enjoy learning songs on request for your special day. We can also assist with quiet music during your ceremony, and play acoustic tunes pre-reception to keep guests entertained, prior to the dance floor jumping to the really bouncy electric guitar and drum tunes. Don't be afraid to ask us anything!
Supplying our own high-quality gear, we bring lighting, sound system including microphones for speeches, and even perform DJ duties during breaks to keep the dance floor full. All we need is a bit of space to set up, and enough area to handle the dancing in front of us!
Our prices are competitive and we travel, playing events in Bendigo, Mildura, Echuca and Robinvale, and heaps of other towns around northern Victoria and southern NSW.
We'd love to help make your special day even more fun and memorable!
About
I have the pleasure of being the main contact for all requests, and really enjoy the impact our little band has had on many happy couples. Jason, Craig and myself are all good mates with happy families who support us in The Drowning Sorrows. We're a level-headed bunch, and each of us has great sense of humour and enjoy getting to know the bride and groom. In my spare time, I'm also the singer and rhythm guitarist.

Thanks Amica and Konrad! The day was amazing despite the weather, and we really appreciated the opportunity.
