Totally different from a standard marquee, our Tipi-style Katas are visually stunning, sitting majestically in their surroundings.

Once under the canopy, the vaulted interior creates a delightful sense of calm, leaving many guests standing in stunned silence for the first few moments!

A Kata wedding holds a very special place in the founding of Katalane. David and Bronwyn Lavelle got married in them in 2011 on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland.

The Katas had such a special influence on their day that David created Katalane to share the Kata experience in the southern hemisphere.

They do unique marquees and woven flooring, and they called me everyday to check what I needed and how much I needed. They were just amazing! My wedding day, it was pouring down rain and he called me to tell me everything would be okay, it was just amazing!

Katalane were our primary provider - they provided stunning giant tipis, festoon lights, tables, chairs and bar units, all handmade by the Katalane team. They were great to deal with and the tipis were spectacular - the guests all gasped when they saw them. It was just magical.
