I had an interstate micro wedding in Melbourne CBD at Rydges recently. I had 6 ladies and my 6yo daughter for hair and makeup. It was a lunchtime wedding and we were all staying at Rydges (we are Brisbane based). We needed an early start, with medium to glam make up and waves/curls/hollywood curls hair. I had enquired with so many vendors and was struggling to gel with someone. I couldn’t do a trial and I had never been or stayed at the hotel and so wasn’t sure on parking and or size of rooms etc. Monique from the first communication was INCREDIBLE to deal with. Nothing was a bother, everything felt easy, her experience and expertise came through in our first conversation where we discussed the requirements and what I was looking for. Prices were very reasonable and the outcome was to die for! Monique and her team arrived early and ready to glam us up. The morning felt so calm but also exciting with their vibe. The first time I saw myself finished - I burst into tears over how beautiful I felt. Monique absolutely nailed it. And all of my bride tribe loved their looks from the team. Highly recommend!!!

Monique did a wonderful job on hair and make up for myself, my sister and my mum for my wedding this year. I was so excited when I found Monique's portfolio, as I was after a bold look and hadn't had much luck finding anyone! Monique was generous with her experience, her time and her expertise. I don't wear much make up day-to-day so I was completely reliant on her! We did two hair trials as I couldn't make up my mind, and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. On the day, Monique was perfect. I really appreciated that she communicated her set-up needs to me beforehand, so I could make sure her arrival was nice and smooth and there weren't any delays that would domino into the rest of the day. Monique arrived early and was straight into it. All her work was beautiful, but I was especially impressed with the make up for my 70 year old mum! Not everyone can work well on different textured skin, but everyone looks fabulous. I think we actually finished a little early too! Monique is professional, fantastic at her job, and also just lovely to hang out with. I would recommend her to anyone looking for wedding hair and/or make up. You couldn't be in safer hands!
